Perth-y-Pia is located in the heart of the Black Mountains National park. Our guests include families, scouts, ramblers, canoeists, cyclists, cavers, training groups, educational groups, families, hen & stag parties and social groups.

We provide excellent bunkhouse accommodation in our stone built fifteenth century farmhouse. The accommodation is in two recently converted units. The Farmhouse sleeps up to sixteen people in five bedrooms and the Barn sleeps up to sixteen people in four bedrooms.
We offer a choice of delicious and imaginative food, from good simple home cooking to gourmet dinners. Vegetarians and all individuals with special dietary requirements are catered for.

Canal Barn Bunkhouse, Brecon

Black Mountain Lodge, Monmouthshire. Wales

Recently converted to bunkhouse accommodation, the Lodge can sleep 20 people in three rooms or opened up for larger groups. We are 400 yards from the Offa's Dyke path and close to several historic monuments. The Gower Peninsula is a one hour drive, Tintern Abbey is thirty minutes, Cardiff forty minutes and The Brecon Beacons are just over the hill.

There are free showers at both ends of the building allowing for groups of opposite sexes. Irons, hairdryers, etc., also available free of charge, and there is a television with video playback facilities in the common room. There is a Drying room and Laundry facilities for gorge walkers.

Right next door is The Old Pandy Inn which has excellent catering facilities and an extensive menu.

Q. What is group accommodation:    Various types of buildings will qualify as group accommodation, it is basically the ability to accommodate a large number of people often in a self catering capacity. The sleeping arrangements could be single beds,  double beds  or bunk beds.

Q. What is bunk house accommodation: A bunk house is a building that will usually sleep a large number of people in bunk beds. The accommodation can be basic but will always be clean and well maintained. Many can be booked for sole use and most will allow a smaller group to book the accommodation but you will be sharing with other people.
