Group Accommodation and Bunkhouse Accommodation Bed and Breakfast Accommodation
We
provide excellent bunkhouse accommodation in our stone built
fifteenth century farmhouse. The accommodation is in two recently converted
units. The Farmhouse sleeps up to sixteen people in five bedrooms and
the Barn sleeps up to sixteen people in four bedrooms.
We are very flexible in catering for
your groups accommodation and catering needs. We aim to provide affordable
bunkhouse accommodation with a friendly and laid-back atmosphere for you to feel at ease to enjoy as you please.
Camping is also available for larger groups using the bunkhouse so we
can cater for larger groups.
The bunkhouse accommodation which sleeps 24 has recently been refurbished by a professional interior designer to make your family , friends or groups stay as comfortable and as unforgettable as the stunning mountains that greet you on your arrival.

Christina Mitchell Brechfa Forest is on the western edge of the Brecon Beacons national park and is within the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains. We are just 25 mins drive from the M4 and are only 40 minutes from Swansea, 1 hour 15 minutes from Cardiff or just over 2 hours from Bristol. Brechfa Forest was origionally a royal hunting forest in the 6th century, but is now managed by the Forestry Commision. Brechfa Forest is the largest man made forest in Europe providing circular walks and world famous mountain bike trails as well as 18,000 acres of off road riding for equestrians. This part of Carmarthenshire is also famous for its fishing.
The newly converted barn sleeps upto 32 people between 7 bedrooms plus a large kitchen/dining room, lounge and drying room. There is a downstairs bedroom and shower for disabled visitors. The facilities are purpose designed to be walker, cyclist and equestrian friendly as well as proving a relaxing space for those who just want to spend time with family and friends.
Group accommodation specially designed for Outdoor Activity people. Located at the Heart of the Brecon Beacons, one of the best areas in the UK for gorge walking, Canal Barn has a superb setting on the canal towpath close to Brecon town centre.
Brecon is 14 miles away, whilst the sandy beaches of the Gower Peninsula are a 45 minute drive. The owners have an extensive knowledge of the local area for those on foot, bicycle or horseback, they also speak Dutch, French and German. The stables are situated close to the cottages, ideal for horse lovers, with stabling available. The Crai river (SSSI) runs alongside the back of the cottages and the large outdoor sitting BBQ area. There are fabulous views over the green rolling hills and river from the kitchen and bedroom window.
 A c16 Welsh traditional longhouse, It is an ideal location for gorge walking, climbing and caving in Wales. Comfortable and well equipped five bedrooms sleeping 2 - 11.The cottage has a open fire, oakbeams. many original features retained. Enclosed lawned area with garden furniture and BBQ. also paddock adjoining lawn for family activities. Plenty of private parking. Sleeps up to 11 persons. Bed Linen provided . Pets welcome Oil central heating in all rooms. Plus open fire in Lounge.
